I love piano - you know, different pianos produce such different sounds - I like playing on those that have a deep kind of metallic echo. This leather shine and color looks so much like a piano case that I'd decide to dedicate it to this glorious instrument. It took me a while to finish it but I think it was worth it :)
I painted it with leather special pigments and added a vintage buckle to match.
The journal is bound with longstitch technique using ocher strong thread.
It has 168 pages (counted both sides) of thick (160gsm) hand stained drawing paper that has the look of old paper. The paper is hand torn and acid free.
It is fairly large - 7.5 x 5.3 in (19x13 cm)
It would make a great present for a creative person - or maybe that person is you?
