I’ve always been attracted to secrets, like vintage documents, treasure hunting, ancient world. For this journal, I chose a lovely leather that has a beautiful patina and a nice texture.
I hand painted a detailed imaginary map on it and distressed the leather to seem like an old paper. Each page was individually stained to give it a weathered look.
The paper is hand torn so it has beautiful raw edges.
The journal is sewn in traditional longstitch technique and it closes on the backside with a leather strap.
Size: 5.3×7 in (13.5×18 cm)
It has 280 pages (counting both sides), vintage style hand torn paper, suitable for writing your thoughts and great ideas.
