This chestnut leather journal has a rustic look, it is a journal to jot down precious thoughts and ideas.
For the cover, I used a high Italian quality chestnut brown leather. The inside of the cover is left uncovered to reveal the natural backside of the leather.
The pages are hand torn – that gives the book block edge a raw handmade look that I really like. The paper is 90 gsm and has a subtle mottled look, resembling old parchment used in medieval manuscripts.
It has 280 pages (counting both sides) and its size is 6.5 x 9 in (16,5 x 22,8 cm) , – big enough to write everything you want, yet small enough to carry around with you.
It is bound with longstitch technique with strong thread and an textile resistant cord t wraps around it ensuring a secure closing.
This journal looks for a creative owner that is special and one of a kind just like it!
