Description
This journal was hand painted, line by line. While I usually make human anatomy drawings, this time I thought it would be interesting to imagine the anatomy of an angel. For this journal, I chose a lovely leather that has a lovely patina and a nice texture.
The paper is hand torn so it has beautiful raw edges.
The pages are an off-white and have a mottled look, resembling old pachment.
The journal is sewn in traditional longstitch technique and it closes with a leather ribbon that wraps around the journal to keep it tight. Its size is 9.2 x 6.6 in (23,5×17 cm). This one is filled with 400 pages, 90 gsm thickness (counting both sides).
