This book is made of high quality leather with a beautiful antiqued appearance and wax finish that gives it a rich precious aspect. I designed it have an ancient aspect. I chose a simple and delicate decoration for the cover to match its overall old look. It was made by hot tooling for the lines and painting by hand for the rhomboidal pattern. The book measures 6.5 x 9 inches (16.5 x 22.5 cm). It has 120 pages (240 sides) of antiqued paper. The paper has 125 gsm and is perfect for writing and sketching in ink and dry media. It was antiqued by staining with natural products to give it a weathered feel, to make it fit the overall antique look of this book. The end pages are made of Italian paper decorated with a calligraphy motif. The headbands are sewn by hand from brown and black threads. This book is an art object.
