Description

This journal was completed entirely in my head before I started finding the materials and turning it into reality. It came out even better than I thought it will. I kept the design simple yet suggestive. The leather I used is a beautiful khaki leather with a distressed look and a crumpled texture. I added three brass buttons and a black leather belt with a vintage brass buckle. The buttons and buckle do not interfere with the writing when the journal is in use, as they are placed on the third cover (the journal has three covers, two of them overlapping on the front)
The paper I used is also special – it is quality 120gsm paper (great for sketching and writing) that I hand torn so that each page has lovely deckled edges. I dyed each page with my own secret method to make it resemble old aged paper / parchment.
It would make a very special gift for someone in the army or for those that love military fashion. It will come wrapped as a gift, as all my books do!
